Yesterday, I got hit by a speeding cyclist going up a one way street the wrong way. Now I have a mangled knee. It hurts when I walk down the stairs, and the lift in the metro is broken. FMCL

Today, I kept on waiting for my new work visa to be approved so I can start a job. They are probably checking my background and reviewing any wiretap recordings they have on me. China's opaque government can really make you feel paranoid sometimes. FMCL

Today, after months of frequently eating out I made tomato sauce, but decided it tasted totally bland. The only thing I could do to make it taste better was add MSG. Thanks China, my taste buds will never be the same. FMCL

Today, I figured out the reason why my Chinese flatmate smokes in the bathroom. It's to cover up the smell after she's taken a dump. She is embarrassed about that and for some reason thinks that the smell of cigarette smoke is more acceptable. FMCL.

Today, someone kept banging on my front door while I was still asleep. Annoyed, I got up and answered the door. A small lady walked in without even looking at me, said "你好, 抄水表," took a look at the water meter and walked out in under 10 seconds. I went back to bed. It was 07:45 on Sunday morning. FMCL
