Yesterday, there was a huge, disorganized cluster of cars trying to get onto the airport express. A bright red Ferrari was blocking two lanes, sitting with its hood and front door wide open. The driver walked over...and grabbed a paper from the front seat and left the scene. FMCL

Last year, since I'm Chinese-American, I was talking to my Chinese co-worker in English on a flight within China. Suddenly, the young Beijing woman next to us began yelling obscenities at us. Turns out, she was upset that we were "showing off" and being "un-Chinese" by speaking English. FMCL

Last week, our night bus and a truck got stuck at a hairpin curve. Instead of trying to quickly resolve the problem, both drivers took a 10-minute smoke break followed by five minutes of cursing at each other angrily, causing a traffic jam of at least a kilometer on a mountain road. FMCL

The other day, I put my mop bucket on my apartment's front balcony, which is shared with two other apartments. We all put some of our things on the balcony, like shoes and stuff. Nothing expensive. The next morning, my bucket was still there but there were orange peels and other garbage inside. FMCL

Today, I went to arrange my move-out note at the property management office, since I'm moving out tomorrow. They didn't have my landlord's contact information for confirmation, so I gave it to them. But they then asked me to prove that it's the real landlord! FMCL

Last Sunday, I was awakened at 8AM by workers hammer drilling in my apartment building. I went down to the 10th floor to yell at them, but slipped on drywall dust in the hallway and landed on my back, fracturing/bruising my ribs. I've spent the past week resting and trying to recover. FMCL
